Aero farms runs without sun, soil and nearly no water.



David Rosenberg founded Aerofarm,  the world's largest 69,000 square - foot indoor farm. The farm combines a technique called "aeroponics" for farming. This farm is aimed at producing 2million pounds and herbs such as lettuce, watercress, kale and basil. The farm has long row of LED tunes which she'd light at the  exact wavelength and intensity each plant needs to grow. In the farm light, air, humidity, nutrients and temperature are tightly controlled. There are no days or nights neither seasons, the end of one harvest begins the planting of another. Each plant is expected to yield between 22 and 30 harvest a year. Aero farm is set to open this September in Newark, New Jersey.
