NFC Technology for payment in Rio Olympics
A user base of 3,000 people who are part of Rio Olympics(athletes, artists and journalists) and a group of 45 Visa-sponsored Olympic athletes will wear and use the rubber waterproof bracelet to make payments for their purchases and services at more than 4,000 payment terminals in the Olympic venues. Visa and Brazilian bank Bradesco are currently running a trail of these wearable bracelets equipped with Near Field Communications(NFC) technology for payments at the Olympic games.
