At the Qingdao Beer Festival in Shandong, China, a Qingdao-based Ever Win Company organised 1, 007  43.8cm tall robots named QRC-2 simultaneous dance which lasted for 60seconds controlled from just a single mobile phone . The attempt was aimed at promoting the company's products during the Beer Festival.  According to the Chief Technology Officer, the robots are equipped with a special encryption technology to reduce radio frequency interference from nearby mobile phones and Bluetooth during the performance . The performance of these 1,007 robots doubles the previous record of 540 dancing robots set earlier this year by another Chinese firm called UBTECH Robotics Corp.

Tamed by the Bearbot mobile App to identify the different remote control units in the control units, the Bearbot uses infrared, bluetooth, zigbee and radio to make life easier for the users. The Bearbot responds immediately to each commands and becomes indispensable in the house being able to detect your gestures via a 3D gesture controller. It functions with internal batteries and completely recharges through induction (Qi system) in approximately 4hrs.This loyal companion can adjust your thermostat, raise and lower your blinds, dim the lights, turn on your home theater and so on.

After a strong 6.2 magnitude earthquake which tremors rattled Rome about 100 miles away hits near Umbria in Central Italy destroying lives and properties early Wednesday 3:36 Am. At least 21people are reportedly dead in the three badly-affected villages in a mountainous area of the central Italy which includes the village of Pestana del Tronto(10 people dead), Accumoli(6 people dead) and in Amatrice (5 people dead).

King Penguin "Sir Nils" (a large bird that snack on small fish) have been promoted to the rank of Brigadier with over 50 members of the Guard visiting the Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland on Monday. Nils is the third line of penguins given Honorary ranks in the Norwegian Army. The first Nils started off as a Mascot back in 1972 and received the rank of corporal in 1982. Sir Nils Olav III whose one out of his most important roles is acting as a Mascot to His Majesty the King of Norway's Guard, was Knighted back in 2008 hence the "III" at the end of his name.
